The All Arts Council organizes a free three-day outdoor concert and hosts a major art exhibit for more than 50,000 attendees during the Vermont Maple Festival in April each year.
CALL FOR ARTISTS: ANNUAL JURIED EXHIBITION--The All Arts Council and the Vermont Maple Festival seek about fifteen artists for a juried exhibition at the 39th Annual Festival, April 22-24, 2005, in St Albans, Vermont. Each year, this exhibit boasts (and showcases) some of the best artists of Franklin County.
The 2005 show is open to all Franklin County area artists in all media except video and installations. Past shows have included exceptional oil and watercolor paintings, fine art photographs, mixed media, pysanki, and sculpture. No Entry Fee. Commission on sales.
The postmark deadline is February 28, 2005. Send an application form and a CD (preferred) with up to six representative images in .TIF or .JPG format or up to six slides or 8"x10" prints to the address below. Call 802.868.3351 or email the All Arts Council for more info.

Each year this show boasts (and showcases) some of the best performers in Franklin County. This call seeks about a dozen solo singers, small ensembles, comic troupes, and bands from the Franklin County area.
In 2005, we want the Festival to fill Main Street with dance on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A comedy troupe could entertain us with verbal legerdemain. Perhaps a theater company could camp on the stage. And we need a big band to create a Saturday swing party on Main Street.

CALL FOR DEMONSTRATORS: ANNUAL JURIED EXHIBITION--The All Arts Council and the Vermont Maple Festival seek a few artists to do live demonstrations at our juried exhibition at the 39th Annual Festival, April 22-24, 2005, in St Albans, Vermont. We are interested in demonstrations of technique or leaders for workshop discussions of artistic genres.
