Franklin County, Vermont, artists are invited to exhibit in a joint venture showcase by the St. Albans Messenger and the All Arts Council. Works will be published on the Arts and Entertainment page of the St. Albans Messenger which generally appears on Thursdays.
The exhibit is open to all Franklin County artists working in any media. All forms of painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphics, digital, and installation art, etc. are eligible as long as you can take a high quality photograph of the finished piece. Artists must be 18 years of age or older. All works in the show must be for sale.
Artist retains all copyrights to submitted images and represented artwork. By entering a work, artists selected to exhibit grant the AAC and the Messenger rights to use the selected image(s) on printed materials and the gallery web site for promotional purposes. The AAC and the Messenger retain no copyrights to the work.
There will be no specific feature dates because this feature will appear on a "space available" basis.
Space is limited; you may submit no more than one piece. There is no cost for this exhibit but neither are there prizes other than "bragging rights."
Artists should submit a JPEG file of original work created in 2013.
A resolution of 180 dpi or more.
Resample the file to a minimum 45 picas wide and a maximum of 60 picas wide.
All styles of artwork and photography are acceptable but all images submitted must be "work safe.
Attach one image to an email message. Include a short (MAXIMUM 45 words) artist statement or bio in the body of the email, not as an attachment. Include the URL of your website if available. Send that message to editor@AllArtsCouncil.org.
