GEORGIA--Awaken Yoga & Creative Arts Studio hosts a Spooky Season Paint Night on Friday at 5:30 p.m. The Halloween themed painting will be step by step with festive music, homemade charcuterie, and responsible BYOB. SWANTON--The Swanton Arts Council hosts Junk Creatures with Abbey in the Maker Space of the Swanton Free Public Library on Saturday at 11 a.m. Participants will make one-of-a-kind creatures with repurposed jewelry and beads. MILTON--The Milton Artists' Guild hosts two Paint 'n' Sip events this week.
First is the rescheduled Mixed Media Pumpkins Paint 'n' Sip with Sylvia Oblak on Sunday at 3 - 5 p.m. This event was rescheduled from October 22 to October 26. No experience is necessary to paint the pumpkins then hot glue leaves, twine, and twinkle lights to create a fall decoration. The cost is $35 for members or $45 for non-members. Then glow in the dark for a Spooktacular Starry Night Paint 'n' Sip with Sylvia Oblak on Monday at 6 p.m. Turn off the lights and turn on the black lights to paint on a black canvas. FAIRFAX--Sarah Barnes leads Sketchbook Club at the Fairfax Community Library on Tuesday at 3 p.m. The club is a "relaxed space to draw, try new art mediums, and build an artistic community." Materials are provided but participants may bring their own supplies. Click here for more info.
ST. ALBANS--The Artist In Residence collection spotlight is on graphic designer, stained glass artist, and teacher Lindsay Didio. The art and fine craft cooperative features paintings, fiber arts, stained glass, sculpture, lamps, pottery, folk art boxes, scarves, hats and more by 38 Franklin County and surrounding area artists. ENOSBURG--The Enosburgh Recreation Autumn Adventures for Seniors program led by Alice Reighley continues Intro to Jazz Dance in the Emergency Services Building on Tuesday at 1;30 p.m. Senior Jazz class is a low-impact way to keep active. MONTGOMERY--The Montgomery Center for the Arts will be bedecked with cobwebs and zombies for the 1968 cult classic, Night of the Living Dead. on Friday at 7 p.m. "They're coming to get you, Barbara!" as seven people trapped in a farmhouse in rural Pennsylvania are attacked by flesh-eating reanimated corpses. ENOSBURG--Let’s Do the Time Warp...Again! The Rocky Horror Picture Show with a shadow cast returns to the Opera House at Enosburg Falls for its 50th Anniversary on Friday at 8 p.m. The adults-only show follows the adventures of newly engaged Brad and Janet as they stumble into the castle of Dr. Frank N. Furter. The eccentric cast and unforgettable songs make the film a must-see and must-see and must-see again for fans. There will be a costume contest audience participation and a little bit of madness. Mill River Brewing will be on site serving drinks.

ST. ALBANS--The Saint Albans Rec Department has The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Welden Theater on Friday at 10 p.m. Doors at 9:15.

ALBANS--The Depot presents Witch, Please: A Hocus Pocus Movie & Dining Experience on Saturday night at 9 p.m. The villainous comedic trio of witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy) will be resurrected again by a teenage boy (now retired actor Omri Katz) in Salem on Halloween.

ST. ALBANS--Osher Lifelong Learning Institute continues the Fall weekly program series with former Fleming Museum Curator of Education Christina Fearon to discuss Chinese Art and the Poetic Imagination in the Greg Brown Lodge at Hard'ack today at 11 a.m. There will be dragons, mountains, and jade carvings to explore how nature has shaped China’s artistic traditions. JEFFERSONVILLE--Bryan Memorial Gallery host their annual, Land, Light, Water & Air Artist Roundtable with William Gotha, Marisol Rosenbluth, and Andrew Orr in the Gallery on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Roundtable artists were all recognized this year for their excellence in painting. Their discussion offers an opportunity to learn from the artists themselves as they discuss their individual approaches to their work, their inspirations, key techniques and even favorite materials. A Q & A with the artists will follow their discussion.
The gallery has exhibits of the landscape painters of New England. The 18+ comedy event will have multiple stand-up comedians and Northern Vermont's premier improv troupe, all to support The Cafe Youth Center. Serving Enosburg-area youth in grades 6–12, the cafe is a safe, friendly, and supportive space. The accompanying Tea Cup Auction will have local goodies and prizes to win.

Tuesday, October 28 ST. ALBANS--The First Congregational Church presents the Arpeggione Duo on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Thomas Schönberg and Christopher Kachian perform music for two of the most ancient string instruments, guitar and cello, in concert. Their program includes music written in the 17th century to the present day. The internationally recognized duo are making a special stop in downtown before they continue their tour. They specialize in elegant and evocative concert renditions and interpretations of folkloric music of the world.

ALBANS--The Eloquent Page Mystery Book Club meets for Shady Hollow by Juneau Black on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The cozy mystery is set in a village inhabited by woodland creatures and follows reporter Vera Vixen, a fox, as she investigates the murder of a toad. SHELDON--The Sheldon Historical Society hosts award winning writer Eizabeth Gauffreau for a talk and book signing of The Weight of Snow and Regret at the Sheldon Community Center on Saturday at 1 p.m. For over 100 years, no one wanted to be sent to the Sheldon Poor Farm. By 1968, no one wanted to leave. The Sheldon Poor Farm was the last poor farm in Vermont. A portion of the sales will be donated to the Franklin County Age Well Meals on Wheels, in memory of the people who were residents at the Poor Farm.
