FILM

This "biography" of cancer documents the single disease from its first cited appearances thousands of years ago through the battles in the 20th century to cure, control and conquer it, to our new and unexpected understanding of how cancer works. That knowledge may usher in an era in which cancer could become a chronic or curable illness.
