GIVING THANKS

The arts have touched all of our lives all year, with benefits and friendship and glorious exhibits and performances grand and small.
Part-time Montgomery artist Michael Domina wrote, "I am so thankful all the blessings I enjoy, a beautiful home and location by the ocean, a large studio space to be creative in and my wonderful husband who supports my dreams."
"I'm thankful for so much," Supercharged singer-songwriter Carol Ann Jones said. "I can't begin to list it all, but to sum it up, my family, friends and fans. The ability to share the joy of music with so many wonderful people who give it right back to me!"
Kevin Loomis who is selling happiness for a dollar says, "I am thankful for good health, the talents I have and for my great wife, Louise." He runs an online music business and directs the Citizens Concert Band.
It's been a notable year for Will Patton. He retired from his day job in May and went back to full time music. "I'm so thankful to be living in this beautiful part of the planet which, while isolated and a bit spotty in the ethnic take-out here in Bakersfield, is surprisingly well populated with supportive, talented and generous musicians.
"There are also a great many festivals and performance venues up here in the North Country, the envy of many of my urban musician buddies.
"We lost a great mentor this fall when John Cassel passed away but the community he did so much to foster is vibrant and healthy."
Mr. Patton will release a new CD, Time's Arrow, in time for Christmas. Mr. Domina's artwork is also all for sale as originals, giclee prints, note cards, and tee shirts. Ms. Jones has three CDs available at local shops
