ST. ALBANS--The Village Frame Shoppe & Gallery Local Artist Show features the works of Meta Strick, Tinka Theresa Martell, and Jill Snapp. ART ON THE WALLS
Lifelong artist Meta Strick of Fairfield earned a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and has taught art for 25 years at CCV. She is best known for mixed media art dolls, wall hangings, and acrylic paintings.
Abstract artist Tinka Theresa Martell of Fairfax works with wood, paper, canvas, recycled, and other found objects. Her small scale collages often interplay copper leaf and ink. Her large scale works are often boldly colored and three dimensional.
Artist Jill Snapp was born in St. Albans but grew up in Florida and Virginia. She holds an MFA, served as the scenic artist for the Virginia Opera, Virginia State and Virginia Scenic, and is now the stage artist for the Society of the Performing Arts. She paints colorful landscapes and barns on a large scale.

MORRISVILLE--The Morristown Alliance for Culture and Commerce's Have A Seat In Morrisville "public chair-art-able project" has placed about 20 foldable cedar Adirondack chairs in public areas and outside businesses around the village.
The MACC mission helps "ensure a strong and viable downtown, uptown commercial district and riverfront." The alliance integrates area history with current physical assets, plus local knowledge, skills, and resources.
The project promotes regional artists and provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy the visual arts. Nearby businesses or groups with the chairs store the chairs inside each night. The chairs will be auctioned off at the Rocktoberfest in October.

ENOSBURG FALLS--The Artist In Residence Gallery features different artists each month. This month, the spotlight is on photographer Wayne Tarr, wildlife painter Franklin Tiralla, and tie dye artist Andy Wooten. Works of the featured members are exhibited in the gallery windows and on the "feature" wall.
The A.I.R. gallery hosts a free meet-the-artists reception with refreshments this evening from 5 - 8 p.m. The exhibit continues through the end of June.
The Artist in Residence art cooperative features paintings, fiber arts, stained glass, sculpture, lamps, pottery, folk art boxes, scarves, hats and more by 45 Franklin County and surrounding area artists. It is owned and operated by the artists and sponsors. The gallery, located at 321 Main Street, is open Wednesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
ST ALBANS--The Northwestern Medical Center Gallery hosts nature and wildlife painter Michael Celentano of Enosburg Falls this month. Celentano is exhibiting works in oils, acrylic and watercolor.
The show continues through the end of June.
ESSEX JUNCTION--On Tap at the Lincoln Inn offers Blues Night with the Nobby Reed Project tonight at 7 p.m. ON STAGE LIVE

BURLINGTON--Discover Jazz promotes local jazz groups and stages them side-by-side with national groups. The Festival continues through Sunday in Burlington locations from the Waterfront Park to the Flynn.

ST. ALBANS--Chow Bella offers Music to Dine By with relaxed music and the arts. They may have live piano, violin, or light guitar any day of the week. The Chow! Cabaret offers live performances by musicians, visual artists, poets, and more. The regular Chow Open Mic Night took place last night. Their Open Comedy Night for comics 18 and older will be held on the third Tuesday of every month.
