FRANKLIN COUNTY--The Big Music Weeks of Summer continue as some of our friends play multiple gigs. Summer Sounds concludes 29 years of concerts in Highgate. There are shows in Enosburg Falls, Essex Junction, Ferrisburgh, Highgate, Milton, Montgomery, Morrisville, North Hero, Sheldon, South Hero, and St. Albans.

STILL SUMMER!

HIGHGATE--O. C. McCuin & Sons, the All Arts Council, and the Town of Highgate conclude the 29th year of Summer Sounds concerts at home in Highgate with the return of Elvis, our old friend Mark Shelton, in the final free Summer Sounds concert of the season on Sunday evening at 7 p.m.
We have no idea how many stars to expect Sunday night. "Maybe we should do three sets," Mr. Shelton said last year. "Pirates, Flower Power, and Elvis. Plus who knows?"
Mark Shelton's astounding voice and dynamic performances leave audiences mesmerized in amazement. The "Hillbilly Cat" has that "Star" quality, to move from the 50s to the 70s with the King of Rock n' Roll as the perfect way to wrap the season.
The International Elvis Tribute Artist Association inducted Mr. Shelton to the International ETA Hall of Fame. His The King Returns concert tours are also internationally acclaimed and internationally sold out. His shows have been featured on ABC News, CBS Inside Edition, Good Morning America, and more as well as globally in India, Fuji Television Network in Japan, and the Daily Mail in the U.K.
Just before the concert, come to the Summer Sounds Social in the Park starting at 6 p.m. The Foster Grandparents' special Intermission and Social event is a chance to visit with friends and have Sundaes on Sunday.
The Summer Sounds concerts are sponsored by the Town of Highgate and the All Arts Council, and underwritten by Chevalier Drilling Co. Inc, Desorcie's Market, Drummac Septic Service, La Quinta Inn and Suites of St. Albans, O. C. McCuin and Sons, and Ray's Extrusion Dies and Tubing.
The community based All Arts Council brings the performing arts to northwestern Vermont. The concerts are always on Sunday evenings, always at 7 p.m., always in Highgate Municipal Park, and always free. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair for the outdoor family music and festivities. The rain site is the Highgate United Methodist Church.
